Facing an above guideline rent increase, longstanding maintenance issues and pests, demovictions, and other kinds landlord issues? Do you want to do something about it?
This workshop will give you hands-on, practical skills on how to talk to your neighbours to convince them that collective action is the way to win. We will practice having one-on-one organizing conversations to get your neighbours engaged and ready to fight.
This workshop will be facilitated by TTU member and longtime labour organizer, Jesse Cullen.
Note: This workshop is ideal for people who are beginners and are new to tenant organizing.
This is the first in a new series called "TTU School" where we aim to have members teach members how to build collective power.
