The Founding Convention of the Toronto Tenant Union marks a bold new chapter, merging our strength, and growing our collective power across the city. This is how we get tenants organized and landlords paying attention. Together, we’re building a force that can stand up to rising rents, push back against unfair treatment, and demand the housing justice Toronto deserves. This is your moment to step into something bigger and help shape a movement that refuses to be ignored.
Join fellow tenants, organizers, and neighbours for a day full of energy, strategy, and action. You’ll help set priorities, forge powerful connections, and lay the foundation for a union built to fight and win for tenants across Toronto. This isn’t just a meeting; it’s the start of a citywide movement, and your voice belongs at the centre of it.
Convention Date: Saturday April 18, 10am–5pm
Location: 1515 Bloor St West, Bishop Marrocco School
Note: In order to fully participate in the Convention, all participants will need to become members of the Toronto Tenant Union. You will receive the full documents in advance so that you can prepare and propose amendments.
After you RSVP, you'll be redirected to become a member.
